Frequently asked questions

Which hiking route will we take?

Your guide sets out the options on arrival and the group decides together, based on preference, fitness and the conditions of the day: the great waterfalls (about 5 hours), God's Bridge by the upper route with the small falls (about 3.5 hours), or God's Bridge by the lower route along the river (about 3 hours).

How difficult is the walk?

Moderate. The trails are well marked but uneven and sometimes wet near the pools, so proper walking shoes matter more than anything else you bring.

Can we swim?

Yes, when the water level and the weather allow. Bring a swimsuit — the river pools are cold even in summer, which is precisely the appeal after a few hours of walking.

Is lunch included?

No. Lunch is paid on site, either as local snacks or a traditional tagine served in the shade by the river.

What is the difference between the two options?

The small-group departure meets at the Poste Maroc in Chefchaouen at 09:00. The private option is yours alone, leaves earlier at 07:30 and includes pick-up, which gives more time on the trails before the day warms up.
