These Terms & Conditions of Sale govern the booking of the tours and activities offered by Welcome to Morocco through the Welcome to Morocco website. Any booking implies full acceptance of these terms, which the customer confirms by ticking the dedicated box before paying.
1. Purpose
These terms define the booking, payment, modification and cancellation conditions for the tourism services (guided tours, excursions and activities) presented on the website.
2. Booking
Catalogue tours are booked online: choice of date, option and number of participants, customer details, then payment. The booking is confirmed as soon as the payment is accepted; a confirmation email containing the booking reference and the receipt is then sent. The information provided by the customer must be accurate and complete. Online bookings must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the service.
Tailor-made tours and private luxury journeys are sold on quote. The proposal is free; the written quote sets out the programme, the price and any supplier costs that are non-refundable, and the customer accepts it before any payment. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to these journeys like to every other booking.
3. Prices
Prices are shown per person, in euros (EUR), inclusive of all taxes unless otherwise stated. The total amount, calculated at the time of booking, is displayed before payment. Items not included (monument entrance fees, meals, tips…) are specified on each tour page.
4. Payment
The full price of the booking is payable online at the time of booking through PayPal: with a PayPal account or by card without creating an account. Payment is encrypted and processed by PayPal; Welcome to Morocco never has access to the customer's card details. Payment on site is not available for tours booked online.
5. Cancellation by the customer and refunds
- Up to 24 hours before the start of the service: free cancellation from the customer area, with a full, automatic refund.
- Less than 24 hours before the start, or in case of no-show or a delay preventing the service: no refund.
- Refunds are issued to the payment method used for the booking. Depending on the customer's bank, they usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
The reference time is Morocco local time.
The same cancellation conditions apply to every booking: catalogue tours booked online, multi-day circuits, tailor-made tours and private luxury journeys sold on quote. Some components (hotels, camps, reserved transport, tickets) may be non-refundable; they are stated before payment or in the written quote and are deducted from the refund. 6. Changes by the customer
- The date and time can be changed free of charge from the customer area up to 24 hours before the start of the service, subject to availability.
- Participants can be added online within the same period, by paying for the added people at the price of the original booking.
- Reducing the number of participants is not possible online and is not refunded automatically: the customer must contact our team.
7. Cancellation by the organiser
In the event of force majeure or conditions making the activity impossible or unsafe (weather, site closure, safety), we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the service. The customer is then offered an alternative date or a full refund of the amounts paid.
8. Right of withdrawal
Leisure services provided on a specific date are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal (Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU). The cancellation conditions of section 5 apply.
9. Liability
The customer agrees to follow the safety instructions and the programme. Welcome to Morocco cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from failure to comply with these instructions or from circumstances beyond its control.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the publisher's registered office. Any dispute will, failing an amicable resolution, be submitted to the competent courts.
