Meeting point

Private option: pick-up at your hotel, riad or the address of your choice in Tangier. Shared group: its meeting point in Tangier.

Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour starts, with a full refund to your payment method, unless a different condition is stated before you pay (for example non-refundable hotel, camp or ticket costs). Good to know

  • • Private option: pick-up from most hotels, homes and Airbnbs in Tangier that a car can reach; the driver arrives at the main entrance in an identified vehicle and confirms the booking name.
  • • On the private option, for accommodation in the middle of the medina, where cars cannot enter, the pick-up is at a nearby central point (Hotel Continental, Bab Kasbah or Grand Socco); near the port or off the ferry, at Hotel Continental.
  • • Be ready 10 minutes before the time we confirm.

How long is the drive?

About 2 hours each way through genuinely beautiful mountain scenery, this is not dead time.

How much free time do we get?

About 2 hours after the guided walk, enough for lunch and the short climb to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint.

Is it too hot in summer?

Chefchaouen sits in the Rif mountains; summer days are warm but usually milder than in southern Morocco. It's actually our peak season.

Can I do this from Spain?

Yes, combine an overnight in Tangier with this trip, or ask us about a 2-day Spain-Tangier-Chefchaouen package.
