Frequently asked questions

Is 3 days enough for the Sahara?
It's the sweet spot: you reach the big dunes (Erg Chebbi, not the small Zagora hills), sleep in the desert, and see the two greatest road landscapes in Morocco on the way.
How cold is the desert at night?
October-April nights can drop near 0°C — camps provide thick blankets; bring layers. Summer nights are warm.
Standard or luxury camp?
Standard camps are clean and genuinely atmospheric. Luxury camps add private bathrooms, real beds and dune-view decks — ask us for the upgrade (approx. +€150 pp).
Is the drive tiring?
The days are long (5-7h driving) but broken constantly by stops that are the point of the trip. Motion-sickness travellers should sit front and bring tablets for the mountain passes.
Can I do this privately?
Yes — private 4x4, your pace, your stops, from €180 pp.
