Lifetime Moroccan Experience

Abdullah truly gave us a lifetime experience Assilah is a beautiful coastal village full of Moroccan heritage that my friend/tour guide was well aquainted with . I say friend because Abdullah shared so much of his knowledge and time with us that I felt I had already known him .We visited Hercules Cave and played music with African musicians, where he explained this was the origin of jazz music brought by slaves. Then on to the camel rides, yes camel rides because when we travel we want to experience as much as possible. Abdullah took us to The Med a small cafe where we had the freshest of seafood caught that day. Our last stop was the market and it was a bit hectic but very eye opening. This is a private tour and if you want to opt out of anything tell Abdullah what you do or don’t want to see. The Mercedes van was very clean with water and our driver Mohssin was very good in all levels of traffic. At every stop he was there to swoop in and pick us up. We hated to part with these two gentleman that I consider friends.

Excellent city tour

Abdullah collected us promptly from our riad and led us into Marrakech. He showed us lots of very interesting sites including the Quaranic school, a berber rug maker and a spices laboratory - but so much more beyond this as he pointed out the little details of buildings, squares and so on as we walked around. We got a good overview of the history of the city through the historic dynasties, Abdullah was an excellent and patient teacher with our questions! An informative, enjoyable and humorous tour that showed us much more than just the 'must see' buildings of the city
