Explore the cosmopolitan city of Tangier on a private sightseeing tour and discover all its main attractions, from bustling markets to historic caves. You will first drive to Malabata Cape (East Tangier) for a great orientation view of the city. Look over at Europe on one side and Africa on the other.Drive through the new city to Spartel Cape (West Tangier), considered the most northwesterly point of Africa, and where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean. The next stop will be the Caves of Hercules, inhabited since the Neolithic period. According to legend, the caves were once the home of Hercules, who created the Straits of Gibraltar with a single blow of his hand. Discover the old face of the city, starting with the Kasbah, where artists and writers have gathered for centuries. Go to the Archaeological Museum, before walking through the colorful streets of the Medina to Mendoubia Gardens and Saint Andrews Church. Experience the electric atmosphere of the Berber market of Sidi Bouabid, where you will have some free time to shop before your drop-off.
