day 1: Tangier – Tabat guided tour: Pick up from your hotel in Tangier, our first stop will be in Rabat, the administrative capital of morocco. visiting this city is a good opportunity to travel through time. this day trip will unveil the modern and mystic faces of the beautiful Rabat. you will visit the historic part of the capital to see the mausoleum, the Hassan tour and the oudaya kasbah. then walk in the wide and modern streets of the new city to pass by the parliament and the big green gardens. our guided tour will also include visits to the city’s souks bounded by almouahad ramparts and the 17th-century Andalusian fortifications. you will also visit the Chella Necropolis where the Roman and Islamic ruins lie side-by-side whispering endless stories of the past centuries.. dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel day 2: rabat – meknes - volubilis – fez after breakfast, you will leave Rabat to drive along vast agricultural fields to the second imperial city of morocco, meknes. in this Ismaili capital, you will have the opportunity to take memorable pictures of the massive Bab el Mansour gate. our tour of meknes includes the Harri Souani stables, the old medina and the beautiful royal palace. then continue to the sacred city of Moulay Idriss. you will have some time to rest in this beautiful small city before visiting the Roman ruins of volubilis. volubilis is a truly impressive setting selected by Unesco as a cultural heritage site for humanity. they date to the 3rd century BC. Many mosaics and architectural constructions persist in the power of time. in the late afternoon, you will leave for fez. overnight in a riad/ hotel. day 3: fes – guided tour of the medina after breakfast, you will begin our guided tour of the fes medina. it is one of the world’s largest walled cities. you will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit. you will also dive into mounds of spices, and intricately woven Berber carpets, yet not flying ones. you will also try many other mystical art objects of morocco. you will also pay a visit to the king’s palace and the Jewish quarter next to it. this quarter was built side by side with the royal palace to protect the Canaanites from rebel attacks. the power to protect this minority was a symbol of the power of the past and the current dynasty during the Middle Ages and in times of war. the tanneries is an ancient industrial site that persists through the modern methods of dying leather. it has proved to generate one of the best quality leather products in morocco. you will have lunch in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. after lunch, we will continue our diving and embrace a remarkable sunset in one of the beautiful terraces of the cafes. overnight in Riad/hotel. day 4: fes – chefchaouen – tangier after breakfast, drive to Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains then have free time in Chefgaouen to explore, & time for lunch, at the end drive back to Tangier.
